The Prussian Blue series is a body of work created through an oil paint pulling technique. Each artwork begins with a layer of acrylic primer applied to the canvas, establishing a matte, receptive ground. Once this surface has dried, a thick layer of Prussian blue oil paint is applied above it. The paint is then physically pulled and sculpted, allowing outlines, shapes, and patterns to emerge through controlled movement and resistance. In several works within the series, masking tape is introduced as a structural element. After the paint has dried, the tape is adhered, shaped, and sculpted onto the surface, creating raised forms that interrupt the pictorial plane. Conceptually, the Prussian Blue series explores satire as a critical lens through which to examine politics, religion, and the solitude of modern life.
